I am a systems, product, quality, program, research, and narrative leader with 19 years of active-duty U.S. Air Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal service, progressing from frontline technical operations through intelligence, training, quality assurance, operations, and senior leadership before retiring as a Master Sergeant.
As EOD Superintendent, I led 18 Airmen and managed 19 Unit Type Codes, $6.9M in contingency equipment, a $300K annual operations-and-maintenance budget, 128 purchase orders, Wing Inspection Team responsibilities, and formal quality-assurance/self-assessment programs.
My documented work includes an 85-task nuclear-system validation that identified 57 deficiencies; a separate six-operating-instruction, 88-page documentation overhaul; training and qualification redesign with measured 40% and 33% cycle reductions; and a separate cross-specialty airfield-clearance effort whose performance records report a 50% reduction in cycle time.
Since leaving active duty, I have been building Moonroot: a developing retreat, conservation, regenerative-agriculture, education, and community concept that has become a practical laboratory for product/service discovery, stakeholder research, AI-assisted workflows, source governance, decision systems, narrative architecture, and responsible human-in-the-loop use of AI.
The common thread across the work is turning ambiguity into something people can execute: gather evidence, define the real problem, make requirements and decision rights explicit, build the system, test it in context, communicate it clearly, and improve it when evidence changes the answer.
